Guo Kui – the 1000-year-old Chinese ‘Naan’ that was once cooked in a helmet and it has become a delicious modern street snack. At A Gan Guo Kui, each Guo Kui is freshly made by hand on the spot. What’s impressive though, is the three clay ovens in the shop. Small lumps of doughs with fillings are rolled into the size of flatbread and slapped on the inner part of the clay oven to be baked over charcoal.
Guo Kui comes in both sweet and savoury flavours including beef, lamb, preserved vegetables, brown sugar red bean and more, grab one with your friends today!
