NOTICE: Burwood Chinatown has decided to postpone the Lunar New Year Festival and 1000 Free Bubble Tea Giveaway due to current community health concerns. The 2-week festival is rescheduled to 18 May – 30 May and bubble tea giveaway is rescheduled to 22 May & 29 May in celebration of Burwood Chinatown’s birthday.

Celebrate the Year of the Rat at Burwood Chinatown with 1000 free bubble teas, food trucks, live music, ping pong, dragon and lion dance performances, plus red envelope to bring good luck. Taking place from January 23 until February 8, Burwood Chinatown will become a bustling hub of activities after-dark in collaboration with The Burwood Hotel, Tsingtao and Ettason.
